Softball ACT confers Life Membership in recognition of longstanding and valued service to softball in the Capital Region. Life Membership, as defined in the SACT member recognition policy, "is awarded to any individual who has rendered at least twenty (20) years distinguished, loyal and meritorious service to Softball in a state capacity, and where such service is deemed to have an extremely positive impact and/or significantly assisted the advancement of softball in the Capital Region."
The number of SUAACT members who have achieved the highest honour SACT can confer is a testament to the fact that umpiring appeals to people who are driven to contribute to the sport in many and varied ways, and that SUAACT has been an integral part of the softball community and its members key contributors to the health of the sport for as long as softball has existed in the Capital Region.
